This is our story about fostering and living with Fibromyalgia.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2020. But even before that I had to quit my job that I loved in 2018. I started forgetting simple things. Would get “shocks” in my legs hands and head on a daily basis. I was not sure what was happening to me. I was always so active, went on hikes, went to the gym, loved being outdoors. But after a back surgery all of that changed. I ended up with some nerve damage. And my whole world changed. So first was finally being diagnosed a few years after everything happened. Feeling like no one believed me. I know my body and when there is something wrong. Then a few years later in 2022; my husband and I decided to look into fostering. It would give me something else to focus on and we both wanted to be able to help the kids that needed the help.
